Screaming Females, "All at Once": Screaming Females, based in New Brunswick, are the only band I've ever heard whose albums consistently outperform the previous one, which is difficult for "All at Once" considering how amazing 2015's "Rose Mountain" was. The Don Giovanni Records release is even more difficult to work with because it is a double album on vinyl with 15 songs. Compared to the bullet to the brain and heart launched from "Rose Mountain," the lengthy sequence of strange snippets and vast guitar epics takes some getting accustomed to, but the Screamales have once again succeeded in keeping 

"The Circle"'s Nalani and Sarina: In my opinion, Sarina and Nalani represent their generation.

They document their peers with skillful songwriting and insightful stories that have a wealth of hooks woven into a theme that makes a statement about millennial accomplishments and failures, all while using a combination of funky sass and folky storytelling. "The Circle" elevates rhythmic pop to a new level, exploring themes such as excessive drinking during college, struggling to repay student loans, escaping the monotony of a 9-to-5 job, finding a way to change the world, taking a chance on a romantic relationship, or simply growing older.
