Roenicke relieved of managerial duties:

Milwaukee'smove comes just 25 games intothe season, but the Brewers (7-18) are currently the worst team in baseball. They were 341-331 in Roenicke's four-plus years as manager.

Brewers general manager Doug Melvin said in a Raisel Iglesias Jersey statement that the team's decision to fire Roenicke went beyond its record.

"This has been a difficult start to the season, something that we did not anticipate," Melvin said.
